Created an attachment (id=830)
source code to reproduce failure

 sac2c bugVP.sac  -bopt -v1  |grep with |wc
     13     128     744
 sac2c bugVP.sac  -bopt -v1 -ecc  |grep with |wc
     15     146     966
With any luck, the problem will be in CF or
one of its friends. I've assigned this to myself,
on the assumption that this is the case.
