compiling with -mt -numthreads 1 crashes the compiler

Extended Description
When compiling a program with the -mt -numthreads 1 flags the compiler crashes on both phase 22 (subphase 2: "Invoking C compiler"). Compiling with -mt -numthreads 2 works fine (or any number > 1). Tested on linux and solaris.
