With the attached source code run:
sac2c -DSACSL -DITERATE aes.sac -target sl_ppp
slr ./a.out
$ slr ./a.out
SYSTEM.CPU0.DCACHE: Attempting to read from non-readable memory
While executing instruction at 0x000000000100b0a8 in T4 in F4
While executing process system.cpu0.pipeline:default
The error appears immediately after running the slr command.
I am filing this as an SL backend bug after conversation with Carl.
