compilation failed while Running SAC optimizations, 1 warning(s).
This failure occurs very sporadically, and it always seems to
go away upon rerunning the compile. It has been around for many
moons.

It looks to be related to the use of -check c.
I now have what appears to be a solid failure with -dopogo -check c.
sac2c time2code.sac -v1 -noainl -v4 -check c -dopogo
