Fixed issue #2326 which revealed that CF always used aplmod and never C's modulo

added the missing zip function for the C-compatible "modulo" ie, remainder! In the process, I refactored zipcv.c which should significantly ease further extensions/maintainability. Fixes #2326 (closed).
