Extended Description

Attached is a compiler diagnostic which I don't understand at all,
and the source code to bring it on.
Also, there's a similar sort of problem when nested WITH-LOOPS are
used and the compiler is grumping about generator versus default
cell shapes - it is not apparent (at least on this side of the pond)
which with-loop it's talking about.
