The latter generates two extra OR functions:
bool[1] OR bool[.] and
bool[.] OR bool[1].
Not sure why simpler algorithms should make things go about 20X slower.
Sven-Bodo ScholzSven-Bodo Scholzhttps://gitlab.sac-home.org/sac-group/sac2c/-/issues/1385less-than-useful bug report at compile time2017-11-19T20:45:16ZRobert Berneckyless-than-useful bug report at compile time

The attached character-character matrix inner product code dies in two
ways:
1. If compiled with: sac2c -noOPT ipape.sac
sac2c dies in the C code generator
2. If compiled with: sac2c -O3 ipape.sac
it generates some sort of code, but the print()
statements don't appear to generate any output.

area.
Theo van KlaverenTheo van Klaverenhttps://gitlab.sac-home.org/sac-group/sac2c/-/issues/1388tomcatv: segfault at run-time.2017-11-19T20:45:34ZRobert Berneckytomcatv: segfault at run-time.

## Extended Description

The attached dies early on, due to nested parentheses in an index call.
IMO, these should be equivalent:
2+3
2+(3)
2+(((3)))
etc.
Probably a trivial syntax analyzer bug.
Clemens GrelckClemens Grelckhttps://gitlab.sac-home.org/sac-group/sac2c/-/issues/1395Compiler runs for a dog's age, eats gig of memory2017-11-19T20:46:16ZRobert BerneckyCompiler runs for a dog's age, eats gig of memory
