This is a weekly release, which is based on the latest upstream changes. It may be unstable.

NOTE that the Linux .tar.gz package is built on a fairly modern release of Linux with the newest packages, in particular libcrypt.so (version 4, also known as libxcrypt). It might not work on older distros!
